Gaviscon Advance Liquid Peppermint is an oral suspension designed to alleviate symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux, such as acid regurgitation, heartburn, and indigestion. It forms a protective barrier that floats on top of the stomach contents, preventing acid from escaping into the food pipe. This extra-strength formulation contains double the concentration of sodium alginate compared to Gaviscon Original, providing up to 4 hours of relief. The peppermint-flavoured liquid is sugar-free and suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
